Refund policy
The following information outlines our Returns Policy. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with us, you agree to adhere to the following policy:
Returns Eligibility
Returns will not be accepted for reasons such as change of mind, incorrect size choice, or slight colour variations caused by things such as lighting or screen differences. Hijabs cannot be refunded/exchanged due to hygiene reasons. All sale items are final. We accept returns only for item/s that are damaged or if the wrong item has been sent and to be eligible for a return, you must notify us within 3 days of receiving the damaged item, providing photographic evidence of the damage. The items must be posted back within 7 days to ensure you receive your refund.
Damaged Goods Return Process
- To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team via the contact information provided on our website
- Bareity Boutique covers the cost of postage and you will receive a prepaid label to attach to your parcel
- Ensure the item is securely packaged and include all original packaging, tags, and accessories when returning the damaged item
- Ensure you obtain a receipt from the postal office as proof
- Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect it to verify the damage/incorrect item/s reported. Once confirmed, we will initiate a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Note: In the event of postal delays or disruptions beyond our control, we consider 30 business days from dispatch as the threshold for what constitutes a delay beyond a reasonable time, in accordance with ACCC guidance. If your parcel has not been delivered within this period, a full refund, including shipping will be issued.
Special Conditions
In the event a return is approved under exceptional circumstances, this is at the sole discretion of Bareity Boutique and the following conditions apply:
All items must be returned in their original condition, unworn and unwashed, with all tags and packaging attached. Items must be free from makeup, stains, marks, odours, perfumes, deodorant, or any signs of wear or damage.
We reserve the right to refuse any return or refund if the item is not in a resalable condition. Items returned with signs of wear or damage may be sent back at the customer’s expense.
All returns are subject to inspection upon arrival.
Refused Deliveries Due to Customs Fees
If a parcel is returned to us due to the customer’s refusal to pay customs duties or import fees, a refund will be issued only once the item is received back at our warehouse. Please note that return shipping from customs refusal can take time (often up to 60 days or more) depending on the courier and destination country. The refund will cover the cost of the item(s) only and will not include the original shipping fees paid.
